2019 Local Elections - Thanks for voting Green!

On May 2nd, many people in Dudley voted Green in the council elections.

All of our candidates pledged to:

  • Demand the council declares a climate emergency and acts much faster to combat climate change

  • Closely scrutinise the decisions made by the council and hold them to account

  • Focus on changing the culture of the council to be more co-operative so parties work together for the good of Dudley, instead of only arguing and insulting each other

  • Work with all parties in Dudley and across the West Midlands to lobby the national government to urgently address the crisis in social care

  • Encourage community-led housing projects that involve residents and neighbours in their design from the start

  • Promote ways that the council could offer better and more efficient waste and recycling services

  • Push the council to be more proactive and include residents in decisions that affect them
